This year, we were able to attend different activities that were all so interesting! Indeed, I have personally been able to go to Quebec City, a UNESCO designated place for its magnificient Vieille Ville, and discovered its Parliament, which is home to the legislative body of the province. There, we attended one of their audiences in which the opposition of the government is able to ask them questions regarding their policies. This time, the hottest topic of all was Northvolt and the province's investment in them, a rather dangerous move that has been more than heavily criticized. Then, we had the opportunity to go and wander in the paved streets, a wonderful experience. Moreover, I also had the opportunity to go on a food tour in the Mile-End, a neighbourhood rich of of cultures from all around the world, and especially the Jewish community as well as the Greek. Going there was a first time for me, and the only thing I can say is that I would definitely go there again! The vibes are unmatchable, the people are so nice too, and the melting pot there was simply astonishing. It really highlights how migration can have such a dtrong impact on some districts and completely reform the vibes there. Such a cultural and inspiring visit. Again, this interdisciplinary week was so cool, and I would recommend these activities 100 times. Thank you.

Hey, I am Maxence! I am a student at the CiSA and apart of the Social Sciences Honours Program (as you can see with that beautiful Québec hat, we've succeeded assimilation pretty well).

Enjoy the read!
